The terms "we", "us" and "Company" refers to Olotels.com.LTD, its partners and/or their respective suppliers, and "you" refers to the customer booking a reservation through us directly, by the use of the website or by calling our call centre. All reservations you book through us are subject to the following terms, conditions and notices as they exist at the time the reservation is made. We reserve the right to change these terms, conditions and notices and you agree to accept and be bound by the terms, conditions and notices that are in effect at the time of your use of our website and facilities.
I - General terms and conditions
a) - The information, software, products and service published on this website may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. In particular, Olotels.com and its partners do not guarantee their accuracy and disclaim liability for inaccuracies relating to hotel and other supplier photographs, hotel property, cruise, automobile and other product descriptions and lists of hotel amenities displayed on the website, much of which information is provided by the respective suppliers.
b) - Hotel ratings displayed on this website are intended only as general guidelines, and olotels.com and its partners do not guarantee the accuracy of the ratings. Changes are periodically added herein. Olotels.com and/ or its partners and/or their respective suppliers may make improvements and/or change on the website at any time. Olotels.com, its partners and/or their respective suppliers make no representation about the suitability of the information, software, products and service contained on this website for any purpose, and the inclusion or offering for sale of any products or services ion this website does not constitute any endorsement or recommendation of such products or services by Olotels.com or its partners. All such information, software, products and service are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Olotels.com and/ or its partners and/or their respective suppliers hereby disclaim all warranties and conditions with regard to this information, software, products and service, including all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability.
c) - The carriers, hotels and other suppliers providing travel or other services for olotels.com are independent contractors and not agents or employees of olotels.com or its partners. Olotels.com and its partners are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of such suppliers or for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting there from. Olotels.com and its partners have no liability and will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or other causes beyond their direct control, and they have no responsibility for any additional expense, omissions, delays, rerouting or acts of any government or authority.
d) - The tax charge on Olotels.com hotel transactions is a recovery of all applicable transaction taxes (e.g. sales and use, occupancy, room tax, excise tax, value added tax, etc) that Olotels.com pays to the vendors (e.g. hotels, etc.) in connection with your travel arrangements. Olotels.com is not the vendor collecting and remitting said tax to the applicable tax authorities. The vendors bill all applicable taxes to Olotels.com and Olotels.com remits such tax directly to the vendor. Olotels.com is not a co-vendor associated with the vendor with whom we book or reserve our customer's travel arrangements. Taxability and the appropriate tax rate vary greatly by location. Olotels.com's actual tax cost paid to the vendor may vary from the tax recovery charge, depending upon the rates, taxability, etc. in effect at the time of the actual use of the hotel, automobile, etc. by our customer.
e) - Currency rates displayed on our website are based on various publicly available sources and should be used as guidelines only. Olotels.com charges your credit card in euros and does not assume the cost of any exchange commission charged by your bank. Olotels.com will not refund such a commission to the client's credit card.
The exchange rates are not verified as accurate, and actual rates may vary. Currency quotes are not updated every day. The information supplied by this application is believed to be accurate, but Olotels.com, its affiliates, and/or their suppliers do not warrant or guarantee such accuracy. When using this information for any financial purpose, Olotels.com advises the customer to consult a qualified professional to verify the accuracy of the currency rates. Olotels.com, its affiliates, and/or their suppliers do not authorize the use of this information for any purpose other than personal use and prohibit to the maximum extent allowable the resale, redistribution, and use of this information for commercial purposes.
II - Booking conditions
a) - Your booking will become firm and final only after confirmation of availability, by electronic or manual mode by the booking centre, and receipt of your payment. The computer system, to which you are connected, deals at the same time with on-line bookings (with reply and instant payment) and requests for booking for establishments that do not have their on-line availability. In case of an electronic booking with immediate checking of availability, the booking is confirmed on acceptance of your payment by the bank. In case of a request for booking, the process of booking is made up of 3 steps:
1. You complete the form on the website and send the request for booking.
2. We will check availability according to your request and send you an email either confirming the request or containing an alternative, within 24 - 48 hours from the receipt of your request. We will always try to find an alternative as closest to your original request as possible.
Olotels.com is not responsible for any error in the personal data the customer provides on the website (wrong email address, wrong telephone number, wrong travel dates, wrong destination, etc)
III - Booking payment
Accepted credit cards are VISA cards and Mastercard. Your credit card is charged by Olotels.com for the total amount of the booking upon confirmation. Hotel Reservation Valbonne will appear on your bank statement. Under no circumstances should the client pay for the hotel room or service mentioned on the voucher at the hotel directly. If the customer pays also at the hotel Olotels.com cannot be made responsible and will not refund the customer.
- - If the requested hotel is not available and we send an alternative, your credit card will only be charged if you accept the new hotel and the new rate offered.
- - If the given alternative is not suitable no charge will be made on your credit card by Olotels.com
IV - Room types displayed on our website
- Single room
- one single bed. Suitable for one person.
- Twin room
- two single beds in the same room. Suitable for two people.
- Double room
- one double bed. Suitable for two people.
- Triple room
- twin or double bed/s + extra bed, or two double beds. Most hotels do not have one full size bed for each guest in their triple rooms.
- Twin/double room for sole/single use
- two single beds or one double bed in the same room, to be occupied by one person.
- Quadruple room
- twin or double bed/s + extra bed's), or two double beds. Most hotels do not have one full size bed for each guest in their quadruple rooms.
- Twin/Double + child
- twin or double room with an extra bed suitable for a child aged between 2- 12 years.
- Cot/cradle or crib
- Suitable for a child under the age of 2 years.
V - Extras and facilities
You must make payment for extras (such as incidental charges, meals, meal supplements, mini-bar, dry cleaning and laundry) prior to your departure from the hotel.
Outdoor swimming pools are generally open during summer season only. The availability of an outdoor swimming pool facility is subject to the hotel's terms and conditions in particular depending on the country and weather permitting heating and air-conditioning. Hotels might not be able to operate heating and air-conditioning at any one time. The operation of a heating system and an air-conditioning may by subject to legal regulations of the country or the area of your destination. Due to different climates and energy saving rules the use of air-conditioning or heating system can be locally regulated.
VI - Cancellation policy, No Show, Amendments
a) - When you are completing the Reservation Form, the Cancellation Policy is displayed. The cancellation policy varies from hotel to hotel and is directly connected with your arrival date, so you must read each one carefully.
The general cancellation policy is:
- if you cancel 3 days (at 12h G.M.T.) or less prior to the arrival day the total amount charged is non refundable.
- If you cancel within 4 to 7 days prior to the arrival day the amount charged for the first night is non refundable. The balance will be refunded on your credit card.
- If the cancellation occurs 8 days or more prior to the arrival 4% of the total amount of the booking will be retained as cancellation fees.
The cancellation terms above are just general guidelines and the specific policy of the property will prevail. Some reservations are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled after booking. Please read the specific cancellation policy provided for each property on the website and in any emails regarding your reservation.
b) - In case of a No-Show at the Hotel the amount charged is not refundable.
c) - You can make any amendment to the reservation free of charge 4 days or more prior to the arrival day. Although generally the amendments do not imply fees there are 3 exceptions:
- the client wants to postpone the arrival - it is considered to be a cancellation and the general cancellation policy above applies.
- The client has booked 2 or more rooms and wants to cancel one (or more) of them - it is considered to be a cancellation and the general cancellation policy above applies.
- The client is in the hotel and wants to leave earlier - no refund will be made.
ALL AMENDMENTS OR CANCELLATIONS HAVE TO BE SENT IN WRITING TO OLOTELS.COM AT customercare@olotels.com Reservations not amended or cancelled through olotels.com will become subject to a 100% charge to be applied.
VII - Refund
Olotels.com refunds your credit card within 5 working days from the receipt of your cancellation or amendment email.
